Delivery Method: The delivery mode of this course is blended. The schedule consists of 1½ days of attendance per week for theory and practical sessions. You will be required to supplement the face to face attendance through completion of online self-directed learning packages, workbooks and assessment materials. This will require on average, a commitment of at least 8 hours per week study time to be completed by you in your own time.

HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled-Division 2 nursing) has been superseded by HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing effective 7 December 2015. As our course is 18 months long, we will not be accepting any new enrolments into HLT51612 after 30 November 2016 as no arrangements for transition into the HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing will be available for learners unable to complete by 30 June 2018. You will still be eligible to apply to AHPRA for registration as an Enrolled Nurse provided you successfully complete HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing prior to 1 July 2018.
Prospective students will need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Diploma level. The entry requirements for this course are as follows:
Have successfully completed Year 12 or its equivalent in Australia, or
Apply based on your work and / or life experience.

The Core Skills Test is compulsory to complete prior to acceptance into our Diploma of Nursing course. It is an online test that assesses your language, literacy and numeracy skills.
